When I was reading catching fire I saw the story through Katniss's eyes. From my perspective she saw a lot of greedy selfish and mean people in the stands when she made her big grand entry at the capital. When I see it through peetas eye he thinks of it as a lot of people in the stands who love both him and katniss but at the same time are greedy and mean. I also think that the people in the capital think of the hunger games as something to look forward to and something of entertainment and that is why pretty much everybody who does not live in the capital hates the capital.
